HEINZ HEBEISEN (See book)

Born in Zürich (Switzerland) in 1951. Has been a professional photographer since 1968.

Studied photography in Zurich and London, at the London College of Printing.

He has been based in Madrid since 1978 – feels as a “madrileño” - and travels extensively through Spain and many countries of the five continents. One of his specialities is wine and wine making, and he has photographed practically every Spanish wine region and many others all over the world. Founder in 1997 of the spanish edition of Vinum (European Wine magazine) but publishes in many other magazines. His idea of fun is to photograph the Spanish landscape from a hot air balloon. Founder of Iberimage. Colour archive with close to 200'000 slides and digital images.

Two Aplied Art Grants by the Swiss Government.

Spanish National Photography Award "Ortiz de Echagüe" for 1988 and 2000 (for the publication in 1999 of over 900 images of Spain in 53 magazines, newspapers and books).

Two Photo Press First Prizes.

Premio Nacional de Fotografía "Ortiz de Echagüe 1987".

Twice 1st Price at the "Certamen Nacional sobre Artes y Tradiciones Populares" organizes by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

Has published 13 books, among others: "El Bosque de Agustín Ibarrola", "Traviesuras", (RENFE, 1989), "El Reino de Los Vientos - The Kingdom of Winds" (Ediciones Trea, 1992), "Ciudades de España" (Tribuna, 1995), Katalonien – Das andere Weinland (Delinat, 2000).

Has performed over fifty individual and collective exibitions (among others in Zürich, London, Madrid, Gijón, Colonia, Dallas and Vienna).

Various photographies in museums and private collections.

Miguel Raurich Böttiger was born in Temuco /Chile in 1953; his academical curriculum is closer related with the medical science: he studies medicine and works as a rural doctor in his natal country; later (1982) he starts making a specialisation in pediatric neurology in Barcelona / Spain and works in it till 1989.

Passion for photography starts relatively early in his life and he uses his “extra” time for taking his camera anywhere at his nearly environment or distant travels.

Year 1990 he definitively leaves the medicine for dedicating full time at his new profession: the photography; his features and pictures get usually edited on the best travel magazines and travel books of Spain (GEO, RBA, Ediciones 62, Lunwerg, Anaya, Everest, etc).

He is the photo author in more than 50 books and travel guides (normally of Spain) and much more in cooperation with other photographers.

In 1995 he founds IBERDIAPO with some other collaborators, at that time one of the most comprehensive and quallified photo stock of Spain.

In 2001 this project gets a big transformation and impulse by founding IBERIMAGE with the other members of this team; it apports great images and and high technology for downloading them from the net.

In the last years his work includes gastronomical photo books.
