Born in Zürich (Switzerland) in 1951. Has been
a professional photographer since 1968.
Studied photography in Zurich and London, at the London
College of Printing.
He has been based in Madrid since 1978 – feels
as a “madrileño” - and travels extensively
through Spain and many countries of the five continents.
One of his specialities is wine and wine making, and
he has photographed practically every Spanish wine region
and many others all over the world. Founder in 1997
of the spanish edition of Vinum (European Wine magazine)
but publishes in many other magazines. His idea of fun
is to photograph the Spanish landscape from a hot air
balloon. Founder of Iberimage. Colour archive with close
to 200'000 slides and digital images.

for 1988 and 2000 (for the publication in 1999 of over
900 images of Spain in 53 magazines, newspapers and

of Winds" (Ediciones Trea, 1992), "Ciudades

Das andere Weinland (Delinat, 2000).
Has
performed over fifty individual and collective exibitions
(among others in Zürich, London, Madrid, Gijón,
Colonia, Dallas and Vienna).
Various photographies in museums and private collections.
